What happens if the GPS watch and the SIAC are worn on the same arm?

In short: The GPS watch can affect the functionality of the SIAC. A GPS watch and the SIAC should therefore not be placed on the same arm. AIR+ Mode can be affected by interference caused by third party devices. The active antenna of some GPS watches can significantly reduce the sensitivity of the SIAC.

The way the athlete should wear the SIAC depends on the sport. In Orienteering, the SIAC is usually worn on the finger. It is important that the orienteer can observe the feedback from the SIAC.
